Hi! I’m Margo, I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) providing in home and virtual lactation consult visits. I am located in the Boston, MA area and I do virtual visits anywhere.
I have a deep passion for supporting families with breastfeeding their babies. I am honored to be part of your journey as a new parent. Breastfeeding can be an amazing experience but it is not easy. Needing support is normal. Whether you are looking for help with getting started or troubleshooting with your newborn, preparing to go back to work or ready to wean, I am here to support you and your goals.
I help families with prenatal preparation, milk supply concerns, latching and positioning issues, nipple pain, pumping, going back to work and much more.
It’s important to me that families have access to lactation support with as minimal barriers as possible. For this reason I have contracted with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Mass General Brigham (formerly Allways Health Partners), and UnitedHealthcare as an In Network provider. I am also approved to see Tricare patients.
In addition to being an IBCLC, I am trained in craniosacral therapy for infants. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, manual therapy that aims to release tension in the body. Nearly all babies are born with tension from being in the womb for 9 months and the birthing process. During lactation consults I may use some craniosacral therapy techniques on your baby in order to help them breastfeed better.
